6 Practical steps to find inspiration and transform Your Life

Most people would say that to find inspiration you need to:

  • Go into nature
  • Seek inspiration on social media
  • Engage in creative or athletic activities
  • Sit in an inspiring place or coffee shop

These suggestions are not wrong at all, but personally, I don’t find inspiration this way because I don’t have time for all that. So, I had to create my own “SOS INSPI” process, which is simpler and more practical.

If you want to know how to find inspiration to achieve your projects and live a more fulfilling life, I got you, babe!

The first thing to do is to set your intention. Clearly say to the universe, “I am open, ready, and receptive to inspiration.”

Choose a moment when you are alone, in a quiet place, without any distractions.
enter yourself and ask, according to your beliefs, God, the universe, or your ancestors to guide you, to help you find inspiration and clarity for a specific project, question, or situation.

Then, wait for the answer.

To receive the answer, be receptive, let go, and connect with your feminine energy to listen to yourself and your environment.

Feminine energy is within all of us, it is not exclusive to women. It is a passive energy, it embodies uncertainty, silence, inspiration, and creativity.

To connect with your feminine energy, take time to rest, choose a moment every day to be in silence, or engage in creative activities. Also, I recommend practicing mindfulness, which is being fully present.

You are in mindfulness when you take time to be in the present moment. To do this, perform tasks consciously, pay attention to your surroundings, reflect on your daily life, and spend time in nature.

Also, become an observer of your own movie, watch your behaviours, reactions, and emotions.

Inspiration comes in different ways, there is no one specific method. It can present itself anytime and anywhere.

You might be inspired by a word spoken by a colleague, a movie quote that gives you an idea, or through a dream, a song, or taking an unusual path.

“Ask and you shall receive.” If you are attentive and receptive, the signs will come to you.

Once you receive inspiration, don’t sleep on it!

You will have two choices: act or not. For your inspiration to develop and manifest in the material world, connect with your masculine energy.

Masculine energy is about planning, order, logic, structure, taking action, and analysis. Every inspiration precedes creation. When you have inspirations, write them in a notebook. Then, based on your priorities, choose the ones you wish to develop.

Sow your seeds, nurture them, and wait for the harvest.

Being infinite means living in the flow of life and not fighting against the current. Be flexible to adapt, develop resilience to face obstacles, and let yourself be surprised by the miracles of life.

Try to plant as many seeds as possible (by this, I mean act on your inspirations and give them a chance to come to fruition), let yourself be guided, allow opportunities to arise, and see which seeds develop or not.

In his book “The Creative Act: A Way of Being,” Rick Rubin explains that he worked on a project for years; it didn’t come to fruition when he worked on it but came to life several years later with ease. Often, for something to manifest, a number of elements must come into play.

We cannot always control the moment of harvest; in my experience, things don’t come to fruition at the planned time but in divine time. Take heed!

Create without expectations, detaching yourself from the final result.

Work on your patience, keep the faith, and try to perform daily tasks consciously and with positive energy.

Being attached to results puts us under pressure and causes frustration. Instead, learn to appreciate the journey, enjoy doing the tasks that bring you closer to your goals. Be grateful for having the opportunity to accomplish yourself (some people in the world don’t have this luxury).
