Our thoughts play a fundamental role in shaping our reality. They are much more than just a mental process; they are creative forces that shape our life experiences.
Understanding the power of thoughts is essential to changing your reality and becoming a conscious co-creator of your destiny.
Today, I explore how our thoughts influence our reality and how to transform them for a more fulfilling life.
How do thoughts create our reality?
Research shows that our negative thoughts create chronic stress which can contribute to health problems such as high blood pressure, heart disease, and depression. And also that limiting thoughts have a harmful effect on interpersonal relationships.
In addition, we observe that the burden of negative thoughts, stress, anxiety and difficulty in achieving goals weighs more and more heavily on modern society.
-70% of adults have experienced periods of intense stress in the past year, with detrimental effects on their mental and physical health.
-1/3 of individuals frequently report being tormented by negative, self-sabotaging thoughts, hindering their ability to make their dreams come true.
Indeed, our thoughts are like seeds which, once planted in your mind, gradually manifest themselves in your reality.
The principle of thoughts is rather simple: if you feed yourself with positive thoughts, you attract positive experiences, while negative thoughts generate undesirable results.
This law of attraction is based on the principle that our thoughts emit vibrational energy that attracts corresponding situations and circumstances.
« "We are what we think, all that we are arises with our thoughts, with our thoughts we make the world."

The benefits of positive thinking
Positive thoughts are a key to a more fulfilling life..
Cultivating a positive mindset improves mental health by reducing stress, anxiety and depression.
Positive thoughts strengthen relationships by promoting open communication, increased empathy, and a pleasant attitude.
1- Become aware of your limiting beliefs and thoughts
Limiting beliefs often emerge unconsciously during a complex process. They are formed from childhood, influenced by education, culture, religion and family experiences. Also, the opinions, expectations and examples given by those in charge, such as parents and teachers, play a key role in this process.
Frequent exposure to restrictive or negative ideas reinforces them. Additionally, over time, failures, disappointments and rejections reinforce these limiting beliefs, creating a mental filter. This filter reinforces these beliefs by deliberately choosing information that supports them, while minimizing or ignoring information that challenges them.
This mechanism as a result create negative thoughts, which themselves will lead to negative emotions such as fear, anxiety, frustration and self-doubt. These emotions influence your decision-making, actions and behaviour, often in destructive ways.
This process of forming limiting beliefs has a profound impact on our lives, acting largely unconsciously to influence our reactions, choices and actions. These beliefs operate behind the scenes, often in negative ways. Becoming aware of these beliefs is crucial to transforming them into positive and constructive beliefs, thus making it possible to change the course of our lives.
How to identify your limiting beliefs?
Make a list of all your beliefs, noting the ideas you have integrated, inherited from various sources: family, friends, religion, teachers, society, relationships.
Then, classify these beliefs into two categories: beneficial and limiting.
Becoming aware of your limiting thoughts is essential to change your perspective. It's like illuminating the dark corners of your mind, revealing the negative beliefs that stop you from achieving your full potential. This awareness acts like a mirror, revealing your negative thought patterns from a new perspective.
Become an observer of your thoughts
Take the time to listen to your inner dialogue by writing down your thoughts for a few days or weeks.
Next, analyze your notes to identify recurring thoughts, whether positive or negative. This will help you spot negative thoughts.
Now that you have identified your negative thoughts and limiting beliefs, you will be able to use them as a starting point to reprogram your mind with positive thoughts, paving the way for a more fulfilling life.
2- Re-program your thoughts using positive affirmations and creative visualization
Positive affirmation
Positive affirmations are powerful tools with the ability to reinforce your positive beliefs and attract beneficial results. It consists of creating positive sentences in the present moment (in the present tense) to change your way of thinking and overcome limiting beliefs.
For example: “I never achieve anything” becomes “I am capable of succeeding in everything I do”.
So all you have to do is take your identified negative thoughts and transform them into positive affirmations. Then, the principle is to repeat these affirmations every day, when you wake up in the morning and before going to sleep in the evening. You can also do this by looking at yourself in front of the mirror to amplify their impact on your subconscious.
Personally, for a long time I was not convinced by the positive affirmations. However, the concept always seemed right to me. I spent years trying to put it into practice, hoping to find faith in what I was affirming. Despite my efforts, the method seemed ineffective.
Until... I discovered Quazi Johir on has developed an improved method to enhance the credibility of affirmations. Instead of using the first person, like "I am," he recommends using the third person, such as "Clara," along with the present continuous tense instead of the simple present tense. This approach can make affirmations feel more objective and believable.
*Key point : The present simple describes a generality or a habit, while the present continuous describes an action in progress at the present moment. So when you read your affirmations in the present tense, the trick is to think of them as actions that you are doing right now. Which may be more convincing than considering the positive affirmation already accomplished as often recommended.
For example: "I never achieve anything" becomes "Clara is constantly progressing toward her goals" or "Clara is constantly accomplishing important things."
This approach is based on the idea of entropy and impermanence, highlighting the constant change in life. Using "I am" in an affirmation limits possibilities and creates barriers, whereas the third person with the present continuous allows us to fully embrace the dynamics of life and personal growth. This method acknowledges that our identity is in perpetual evolution.
La technique d’affirmation de Quazi trouve ses fondements dans le livre « Psycho-Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz, who explores the relationship between personal identity and goal achievement.
Creative visualization
The power of visualization, in addition to the affirmation method, helps to strengthen and ground our aspirations and goals in our mind. When we create positive affirmations; they trigger a mental process that can help reshape our attitude and beliefs. However, visualization goes even further by allowing our minds to develop vivid, detailed images of these statements.
By actually imagining ourselves living these affirmations, feeling the associated emotions, and visualizing the success scenarios, we strengthen our commitment to our goals. This creates a deeper connection between our conscious mind and our subconscious, thereby strengthening our determination to achieve our dreams. The combination of affirmation and visualization offers a powerful approach to transforming our thoughts into concrete actions and, ultimately, reality. For that :
Start first by clarifying your future goal. Next, identify the steps necessary to achieve this goal. After that, practice the following visualization exercises:
1- Imagine yourself living your future reality while feeling the positive emotions that accompany it. Daily visualization strengthens your intentions and harmonizes your thoughts to achieve what you desire.
2- Visualize yourself carrying out the actions necessary to achieve your goals.
By adopting these practices, you become the master of your thoughts, profoundly changing your perspective on yourself and the world.
Positive affirmations build your confidence and self-worth through their repetition. By using the classic affirmation or the third person technique, you will embody a future “you”, confident and successful, directing your actions towards your aspirations.
By combining these methods, you gradually replace limiting thoughts with positive beliefs, transforming your reality. Although it takes practice, these techniques help you see a world full of possibilities and successes.
3- Take action to achieve your goals
To achieve your goals, it is imperative to understand that affirmations and visualization are not a magic solution in themselves. Although they are powerful tools for reprogramming your mind and transforming your beliefs into a positive outlook, their effectiveness relies on the concrete action that accompanies them.
To improve your life and achieve your aspirations, it is essential to put these affirmations and visions into practice through daily actions. This involves moving gradually and consistently towards your end goal.
Action is the key to concretizing your dreams !
By taking action, you transform into action the mental changes initiated by affirmations and visualization. Action is the engine that materializes your thoughts into reality. By taking actions in line with your goals, you strengthen your confidence and your commitment to positive change. Each small victory renews your faith in yourself and encourages you to move forward.
Affirmations and visualization define the vision, but it’s action that makes it happen. Ultimately, the act of taking action constantly brings you closer to your goals, solidifying your belief in your ability to change and succeed.
4- Create an inspiring environment
Your environment plays a significant role in the manifestation of your reality. Although you can't choose your family, you still have the power to surround yourself with positive and inspiring people who support your aspirations.
If your social circle is filled with vultures and crows, it is possible to feed your thoughts with inspiring people. If you don't know anyone, you can read books, listen to podcasts or watch motivating videos to cultivate a mental environment conducive to your growth.
Your physical environment is also essential. To make it harmonious, you can organize it to reflect your goals and values. Here are some ideas:
-If you are passionate about creativity, set up a corner dedicated to your artistic activities at home.
-If you are looking for balance, create a meditation or yoga space.
-If reading and learning are your passions, organize a personal library corner.
- If nature inspires you, create a garden or a green space.
-To promote productivity, organize your workspace ergonomically.
Arranging your environment to reflect your aspirations is powerful. Each space you create becomes a constant reminder of what you seek to accomplish. Creating an environment that supports achieving your aspirations ground your goals in your daily life, strengthens your determination, and guides you towards achieving your dreams. Every element of your environment becomes a source of inspiration, maintaining a positive outlook to help you achieve your dreams.
Conclusion
In summary, transforming your reality begins with becoming aware of the impact of your thoughts on all aspects of your life. Negative thoughts have the power to cause devastating consequences, impacting your mental health, your relationships, and your ability to achieve your goals.
On the other hand, by identifying these limiting thoughts, rewriting them with positive affirmations, and visualizing your goals, you have the power to reorient your perspective and, therefore, your reality.
Keep in mind that action is imperative to bring these transformations to life.
Pour couronner le tout, n’oublie pas l’importance de façonner un environnement qui soutient tes aspirations. Chaque élément de ton quotidien peut devenir une source d’inspiration pour maintenir une attitude positive.
So, become a conscious co-creator of your own life, and begin to sculpt a more fulfilling reality.
Have a good week !
With gratitude,
Clara
